The Green Dragon, Bramshaw.... Lyndhurst.....

This week, Jennie from the Fancyapint team, ventured to the fields of the New Forest, Bramshaw, to review The Green Dragon! Read her review...

Built in the 15th century, with rural surroundings, rustic brickwork and vintage artefacts…. The Green Dragon brings a new meaning to the word ‘traditional’.

Be prepared to put up with a bit of fight trying to get to the bar with the local farmers in their muddy wellies and restless dogs by their sides! However once served, you can take your pick of where to sit with their spacious indoor seating or outside garden, perfect now Spring has finally arrived! Everyone seems to know each other with friendly banter amongst the locals, which you don’t see very often these days with people usually popping in pubs only for a quick pint. The atmosphere is relaxed, with everyone here to catch up and enjoy a drink.

The Green Dragon also serves food, with a cabinet dedicated to the array of home-made deserts! Be careful not to stare too long, as they look very tempting! The Plum Tart is recommended!

So if you’re looking for a pub without the hustle and bustle, look no further, The Green Dragon is definitely a pub worth giving a try with....
