First stop... The Cowherds, Southampton!

So, we made our first stop at The Cowherds in Southampton last night...

On behalf of Fancyapint's team, a group of 4 students from the University of Southampton took on the role of reviewing for you guys to have a more informed decision when choosing your next outing to the pub! Let us introduce ourselves...

Jennie, Mark, Sophie and Laura.... and here's our thoughts!

Situated off the Avenue, its natural surroundings complement the pub's setting. As soon as you walk through the door, its interior offers a very homely and traditional pub feel, which creates a cosy atmosphere, supplemented by pleasant background music. However, the constant ringing of the phone was slightly off putting at times, but with a menu of traditional pub grub at reasonable prices and seasonal ales, we soon weren't complaining! The current Spring ale on offer is the highly rated 'Schiehallion' pint! Sounds interesting! There are two food menus, one being a fixed price menu where you can receive a 3 course meal for £10! What a bargain, especially for us students! Customer service was very good, with staff more than happy to help. Overall, the Cowherds gets......
